We provide notarial services by appointment only.

We aim to respond within 24 hours.
Before the appointment is arranged, we will ask to see the document that requires notarisation so that we can advise you of the efficient and effective way of dealing with the document.
Please note that if an apostille and/or consular legalisation is required or the document has to be couriered, this will add time to the process. There are services available to expedite the legalisation process by paying an additional fee and we can advise you of the options.
We will be able to assist with obtaining translations where required, but this will also add time to the process.
Fees
If the matter is simple, we will endeavour to give you a fixed fee estimate.
If the matter is complex, our fees will be based on an hourly rate and a number of factors:

- the type of document (personal/commercial; taking into consideration its length and content);
- whether the document is already prepared or whether it needs to be drafted;
- the number of documents;
- how many people need to sign the document;
- which country the document needs to go to;
- the time that will be required to complete the work; and
- the urgency of the work.

Some documents require legalisation before they will be accepted for use in the receiving jurisdiction by obtaining an apostille through the UK Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office and, for some countries, additional legalisation is required through the relevant embassy or consulate.

Expenses such as postage, consular agent fees, courier fees, travelling expenses, translating costs, if required, will be payable in addition to our fees.

We will inform you of any legalisation fees and expenses in advance.
Please note that if we have to make payments on your behalf for legalisation fees and/or any of the expenses, you will be required to make payment in advance of any such amounts.
Occasionally unforeseen or unusual issues arise during the course of the matter which may result in a revision of our fee estimate regardless of whether the matter is simple or complex. We will notify you of any changes in the fee estimate as soon as possible.
